The area around Billy’s On The Beach
Billy’s on the Beach is located on the seafront in Bracklesham Bay, a small village on the West Sussex coastline and home to some of the best water sports conditions in the south east of England.
Where we are
We have a good sized public car park right next to our restaurant and you’ll avoid a lot of the traffic heading to West Wittering beach during the peak summer months.
Quieter than the neighbouring East and West Wittering beaches, you’ll find the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful coastline on our beach. Whether it’s a still, sunny day or a windy, stormy one, the beach is always filled with families enjoying a stroll or adrenaline fans hitting the water with kite surfs, wind surfs or paddleboards.
Bracklesham Bay
Bracklesham Bay isn’t just well known for water sports. If you take a stroll along the shoreline on a falling tide, you may well spot one of the area’s famous fossils – from shark teeth to corals and many other marine fossils. Or, you can read up on some history – did you know, the remains of a tank used by the Canadian soldiers who were practicing their amphibious landings before D-Day in May 1944 can still be found if you’re a keen scuba diver.

Our glass-fronted restaurant looks out on all the action (particularly cool when we have a good storm building!).
